BEDDING THE BEST MAN is a standalone read with a HEA. It is quite steamy so be aware if you are a sensitive reader. Gabe was born to an addicted mother that never really spent any time with him, she was always more interested in her latest male friend. He was saved by a local man that ran a gym and helped to save young men from going down the wrong path. He was more of a parent to Gabe than his own parents. Due to his help Gabe excelled in sports, kept his grades up and won a scholarship to a very prestigious college. The other students were mostly very wealthy trust-fund kids. He never felt as if he belonged and felt he really wasn't good enough for the other guys.He did have a very good friend that never cared how he grew up. On a visit to their family estate Gabe meets the younger sister. She is a beautiful young woman, a dream for every guy. She is immediately taken with Gabe but he knows she is way out of his league so he stays clear of her. He is very attracted but knows he would never be accepted into her world.
Brianne is a very down to earth young woman and when she meets Gabe she feels a strong attraction but he never shows any interest. Years later she is engaged to one of his best friends, he is the best man. Their attraction has grown over the years but they stay apart for the same reasons. At her wedding, the groom is a no show. She is more relieved than anything. Everyone in their social circle was at the wedding when she told the guest that the groom would not be attending his own wedding.
She and Gabe finally have their moment but the guilt they each feel is overwhelming. Gabe felt he was cheating on his best friend and Brianne felt she was moving on too fast even though she had loved him for years. The story starts their journey. I loved this hero. He was such a good guy and he was passionate about her. The heroine is a good strong character and is willing to fight for what she wants but she is experiencing too much guilt to move forward.
I really enjoyed the story. I thought it was a good love story. I definitely recommend it. Brianne's assistant lends a lot of color to the story. She is wickedly different! But loyal to a fault. There are a couple of good side characters but the story is mainly about the two main characters.

I am glad that I read this first after reading Jamie and Lucy's story. If I hadn't, I would have been disappointed. While it was a nice read, I think Bedding the Billionaire was the best book in the series I read so far.
Eric leaves Brianna at the altar, so why is she relieved? Something is not quite right, and Gabe is just trying to help his best friends fiance.....or is it? Have has been watching her from afar every since he met her...Will he take a chance at last? A must read to learn the answer.
This is the first book I read by this author and I found myself buying the rest of the series and starting from the beginning because I needed to know everything else that happened and about the other pairings.
The scenes were beautifully written and the characters well developed. It made me invested in them and rooting for them. The sex scenes were steamy and well written. I now look forward to all her books!
This was a good story about how finding love. The f u eat time Gage saw Brianna was a her parents house when he went there with his college buddies and her brother. She just broke up with her college sweetheart. He was a friend. 6 years later on her wedding day and her fiancee doesn't show he is Gage's friend Eric.
This was just ok. I usually don’t ever leave a negative review. Most of mine are 3 stars or higher. This is a tale of low self esteem by the guy. He didn’t think he was good enough for the princess even though she showed interest. So said princess spends 6 years dating the man that did ask her out. It’s like they were 15. Come on. Grow a pair! Don’t settle for less(
This story felt so immature and convoluted. Everyone felt Bianne was the victim, but I felt so sorry for Eric. I think he was by far, the only grown-up of the whole group. If what happened to him, would have happened to me....I would have called off the wedding, too. That he stayed mum about the real reason he took this action when all of his friends were making him out to be the bad guy in this situation, shows just how mature he was. Makes me wonder now, what really happened with the first guy that she was engaged to.
This is an OK romance, and I mostly liked the couple -- but wow did they both need to grow up and admit their feelings for each other. They love each other for years, and neither of them says anything? I'm sorry, but that is just stupid. And the silliness with her being such a wimp about camping was a bit over the top. I don't like camping or bugs either, but her reaction to them was just ridiculous. I also had a little trouble with how fast they slept together after she was jilted -- just seemed too quick for her to be ready for another relationship.
